“SILVER LINE(ing)” is a representation of the journey we experience throughout our lives; the beauty, the struggles, and the pain we endure.

Life itself is a treasure gifted to us all. We grow, change, wither, shine, and at times buckle. These experiences allow us to discover an unimaginable strength within.

In our darkest hour, we may discover that somebody or something will illuminate the situation we are facing.

These pieces show the extraordinary transformation, through hammering, persuasion and struggle, taking a flat sheet of metal toward an object of fluidity and unity. The paradox of soft looking metal that has required extreme force and skill symbolizes taking the good with the harsh, the joy with the pain and the light with the dark. When we accept that one does not exist without the other, our lives are able to move forward.
