Visits to the Australian outback have left me with vivid memories of the colours and textures of that landscape, visibly displaying the effects of erosion, change and decay, subject to constant fluctuations of the elements and natural events.

Like the earthly landscape, the human body is also affected by external forces such as weather, pollution, war and industry, in addition to internal forces and upheavals, resulting in irreversible change.

This work examines the landscape of the bodily form, charting the vicissitudes of time, and the inevitability of gradual deterioration and decay.
