Promenade of Failed Ideologies depicts mainly autocratic decay. The peacock is used as a juxtaposed metaphor, due to its depiction in primarily western culture as a sign of beauty, wealth, protection and immortality. Hand written text which is organic emphasises the human element associated with decay in autocracy.

I have used the silhouettes of hands and a coarse aesthetic to emphasize the human cost and flawed elements of autocracy. I chose this particular colour scheme to represent the cycle of renewal
